PR, Web Development among the 50 Best Jobs of 2012

If you're pursuing a career in public relations and/or web development, there's some good news for you.

U.S. News and World Report's career section has both PR and web developer among the 50 Best Jobs of 2012.  PR topped the list out of the three positions listed in the "creative services" category, while web development ranked third behind database administrator and software developer, as well as No. 6 overall.

List of websites opposing PIPA and SOPA

Newspapers cut more than 3,700 jobs in 2011

The attrition of print journalists continues.  The Paper Cuts blog reports that the newspaper industry cut at least 3,775 jobs in 2011.  That's up 30 percent from 2010.  PR Newser has more on how this year's staff reductions are having an impact on public relations here.
